OSNAS Student Vision

We're shaping the next generation of well-rounded, high-performing, Champions for Christ!

Well Rounded

Imagine a child who moves seamlessly from solving complex equations to playing beautiful music on the violin. Envision someone who is equally comfortable with creating an artistic masterpiece as with delivering a public address to a large audience, or a child who one moment discusses the impact of a historical figure and then goes on to participate on a sports team.

This is an image of a well-rounded person. Well-rounded people do many things well, possess wide-ranging knowledge, and are able to relate to all sorts of people. Because a well-rounded person is uniquely positioned for a successful and fulfilling life, this is one of the major goals we have for our students.

High Performing

Well-rounded is only part of the equation, however. We do not serve a mediocre God. Consequently, He has not called us to a life of mediocrity but one of high-performing excellence. Excellence does not mean being the best in comparison to others. It means relentlessly striving to be the best version of oneself.

God has given each of us different talents and abilities at varying degrees, and He expects us to use these gifts to the max. We want our students to function at a high level with respect to their studies, occupations, relationships and above all, commitment to God.

Champions for Christ!

It is certainly advantageous in life to be well-rounded and high-performing, but it is not nearly as important as having the proper foundation. The only sure foundation for a meaningful and satisfying life is Jesus Christ. If Christ is the top priority, everything else falls into place.

No matter what your child goes through in life, a person who is firmly rooted in Christ possesses the steadfastness and resiliency to overcome every obstacle. In other words, your child will be “more than a conqueror through Him who loved us.” And if your child is more than a conqueror, he or she will also be a champion for Christ!
