OSNAS is excited to announce its long awaited library is now open and fully functional. The school and church plan to take advantage of the new space for select class sessions throughout the day. OSNAS began renovating what was the former computer room into the new library at the beginning of the 2021 school year. One of the upper level elective classes, Trade Skills, used the room as an opportunity to put into practice what they were being taught throughout the year.
Some of the items installed in the room include a conference style table and chairs, a TV on the wall, bookshelves with famous classical works lining the walls, a rug to be used by the younger students, and a painting titled “Peter Walks on Water” by Philipp Otto Runge, 1806. Copies of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution remind all who enter of the principles on which the United States was founded. These documents serve as a reminder that OSNAS believes in Divine Providence (God is sovereign and in control), that all men are created equal, and how important the freedom of worship is.
