Every year, OSNAS students and staff remember that there are children around the world who will not receive gifts during the Christmas season. This motivates us to partner with Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse. In this ministry, people fill shoeboxes with gifts and ship them to children with little means. The school teamed up with the church and was able to collect 139 shoeboxes. These boxes are currently en route all over the world not only with material gifts, but also with the message that Jesus is the true reason for the season. Indeed, the gift of the Christ child in Bethlehem is the greatest gift of all! This act of giving is one of the ways that we strive to keep Christ as the focal part of the holiday that bears his name. Merry Christmas!
