Dear OSNAS Family,
Christmas preparations and celebrations are in full swing. In all the hustle and bustle, the main question is, “Is Christ the focus of your Christmas?” One great way to keep Christ central is to attend church and other settings where Christ is proclaimed as Savior and God. Thankfully, OSNAS will be hosting one of these events tomorrow. EVERYONE is invited to witness the children of the school put on a play and concert with Christ as the main character.
The dress rehearsal will take place tomorrow morning at Daily Prayer. Please send your child in costume with their uniform either underneath or in their backpack. Tomorrow’s dress rehearsal will not be broadcast on Facebook Live.
The full play and concert will begin at 7 pm in the gymnasium. This will be broadcast live through Facebook. Those involved in the play should come at 6 pm and go to their designated area (sheep, shepherds, angels, etc.). Parents will then be able to go to the gym to take their seat or meander in the gym lobby where there will be a bake sale sponsored by the OSNAS Student Government. All proceeds will go to support the Drama ministry at Our Savior. Once the play portion is over, grades K-2 will stay on the stage for the concert portion and sing in their costumes. They will be in formal dress for the Spring Concert. Please pray that God uses this play and concert to bring people to faith in Jesus.Â
On Wednesday of next week, we will be having a Christmas Spirit Dress Day. Students who bring in $5 on Monday or Tuesday will receive a pass to dress in Christmas pajamas, sweaters, hats. etc. The money will go to support an organization called Garuna that establishes and supports Christian schools in Southeast Asia. Students who participate should bring their uniform in their backpacks.Â
May the joy of Jesus fill you along with the grace of God and fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Christ is born!
Peace in the Lord +
