Dear OSNAS Family,
Thanksgiving is a great holiday for the fantastic F’s: Family, Friends, Food and Faith. Faith in Jesus gives us a solid foundation that nothing else in this world can give. As we move past this great holiday, we now focus our attention on Advent and the coming of the Christ child and what it says about God that He was willing to take on human flesh and suffering. This is what CHRISTmas is all about. Here are some things to keep in mind moving forward:
- We are collecting bags of clothes for a church fundraiser. We want to beautify the area around the flagpole in the back with nice landscaping in the Spring. You can help by bringing your unwanted clothes that are collecting dust and put these bags in the gym. We will be collecting all this week.
- This Friday we have a Paint-a-long event open to all at 6:30pm in the Creation Room. For $25, you will be directed step by step to create a masterpiece by our professional artist Melissa Hin. Call OSNAS at 631-588-2757 to register.
- Next Monday (12/5) is Photo Make-up Day. If your child is retaking or taking for the first time, please send him or her with their Wednesday formal attireÂ
- As a reminder, the field trip to King Tut for grades 5-12 is on December 15th. We will be pulling out of the parking lot at 8:15am sharp so please be on time if you don’t want to miss your ride. Students can wear black or blue jeans without rips or holes with Jesus Never Stops shirts or their OSNAS uniforms. We always want to represent Our Savior (school and Jesus) when we go out in public.Â
- Please keep the school in your prayers. Satan is not happy with what’s going on here in the classrooms and in the hearts of young people. Pray especially for the health and strength of your children’s teachers in body, mind and spirit. We need your prayerful support at ALL times.Â
