Dear OSNAS Family,
Thank you to the PTC for putting on a fun-filled Lego and Art Night. The kids created some very beautiful art and skillful constructions. It’s always a blessing when parents and school come together to serve the students in harmony. It’s also nice to see how many new parents have come onboard to share their time and talents. Here are some things of note for the days ahead…
- At Daily Prayer on Wednesday. we will be having a Nutrition Assembly and a tribute to the people of Ukraine. The students of the school have raised over $600 for relief efforts so far. Most of it has come in the form of compassionate and generous children emptying their piggy banks and giving up a snack at lunch. It has been inspiring to see. Collections will be taken until Wednesday when we present the donation and send it off. All are welcome to attend this special Daily Prayer Service starting at 8:15am.
- Grades 4-9 will be going on their learning experience to Medieval Times on Friday. Students must be at the school at 7:30am for instructions before a prompt departure time at 8:00. We will be returning to the school at 4pm. Students going on the trip are allowed to wear their uniform, OSNAS spirit wear, and blue or black jeans without rips or holes. They will also be able to responsibly use their cell phones on the bus.Â
- Intramural basketball takes place today after school for grades 4-8. There will be no basketball on Friday due to the field trip.Â
- We are looking to start an intramural soccer program for grades preschool through 8 at the end of April and into May. More details will be forthcoming.Â
