Dear OSNAS Family,
Thanks to everyone who came out this weekend for the Italian Dinner on Saturday hosted by the Student Government as well as those who came to the March Madness watch party yesterday. Thanks to the students’ hard work and your support, the Student Government was able to raise over $1,600 for school improvement projects. As for the watch party, we had a blessed time watching two of our recent graduates play in the Elite 8 against North Carolina. Although Saint Peter’s lost the game, they made history by becoming the lowest seeded team to ever make it that far in the tournament. We are proud of the effort, skill and sportsmanship that the Drame twins showed to the nation throughout the entire tournament. News 12 did a feature on the watch party that can be viewed here.
For those who have not yet reenrolled, please note that the enrollment fee will increase by $100 starting in April. Financial aid is also reduced by 10% each month that passes so please be mindful if you intend for your child to attend OSNAS next year.Â
It is also important for all families to be proactive if they want bussing to the school next year. In accordance with the New York State Education Law, residents’ requests for transportation to private and parochial schools must be submitted in writing by the parent or legal guardian to the Transportation Office no later than April 1, 2022 or within 30 days of moving to the district. Call your district or go to your district website for the proper form.
Lastly, save the date on April 30th from 6:30-9pm. We will be having a Parent-School Social. This will be a fun and interactive night with more details to come in the days ahead.Â
