OSNAS Update – Monday, September 20th, 2021

Dear OSNAS Family,

We are off to another great week with our focus on Jesus. At the start of every school day, the entire school gathers in the gym to hear God’s Word and respond in worship, prayer and praise. You are always invited to attend in person or virtually through the OSNAS Facebook page live at 8:15am or later on in the day. I also share the thought of the week in a condensed form on Instagram or on Youtube. Feel free to share with others to get the word out. 

Thursday is Back to School Night at 7:00pm. This is a night in which parents are invited to come into the classrooms of their child’s teachers to get a feel for how the class is conducted and ask any questions that they might have. We will start in the sanctuary before going into the classrooms.

Grades 7-12 are eligible to participate in the OSNAS Student Government. The deadline for handing back the participation form is on Thursday, September 23rd.

Friday is our first Jesus Never Stops Day. On the last Friday of every month, students are permitted to wear tidy blue or black jeans (no holes or rips) if they wear a Jesus Never Stops shirt. These shirts are a great witness and will be available for purchase during the Back to School Night. 

Also on Friday during Daily Prayer, the students will receive a brief introduction to the clubs that are offered at the school this year: STEM (1-6), STEAM (7-12), and DRAMA (5-12). The sign-up for these clubs will begin next Monday and end next Friday.
