Dear OSNAS Family,
Each week we begin with a focus on God’s Word. Our verse of the week is, “As iron sharpens iron, so on man sharpens another.” This verse talks about the mutual benefit of learning in community. In our life together, we make each other “sharper” by sharing the Word of God. The fear (i.e. solemn respect) of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).Â
Thank you to all the parents, teachers and students for helping facilitate a smooth first two days of school. If you have any questions, we are here to help. You have the teachers, staff, Dean of Students, Guidance Counselor, and Principal ready to help. Here are a few things to note moving forward:
- Picture Day has been moved from tomorrow to Monday, September 26.
- Students in grades K-4 can wear their P.E. uniform to school on Tuesday and Friday.Â
- If you are having trouble logging in to your FACTS SIS account to access things like homework assignments, grades and the lunch menu, please email our Guidance Counselor at stephanie.seaton@osnas.org or call her at 631-588-2757 ext. 268. Students as well as parents should be able to log in. Students should also be able to log in to their school gmail account.Â
- The Our Savior Soccer League for grades K-8 begins this Thursday. This involves both soccer training and some scrimmages at the end of the training. Students who participate may stay after school and will be walked out to the field at 3:15pm. Parents can pick up their children at 5pm when the session ends. Parents can sign up by clicking here.Â
