OSNAS Update – “The Flood Destroyed Them All”

Dear OSNAS Family,

The global Flood was a real historical event. The Bible gives us the exact day, month and year of Noah’s life when it occurred. The evidence of fish fossils on mountaintops along with the billions of dead things buried in rock layers, laid down by water all over the earth bear testimony to this catastrophic event. The future return of Jesus is also an event that we can count on. Jesus makes a comparison to the days of Noah and His return when those who are not “in the boat of salvation” will be completely wiped out. When we believe in the Lord Jesus, we receive a ticket on this boat free of charge. Do you have eternal life insurance?

OSNAS Updates:

1. Thank you to all the parents who came out for Back to School Night. It was great to see you there!
2. This week and next week we are collecting items to help foster children and survivors of human trafficking. We ask each child to bring in the supplies to contribute to this special mission. The list of items can be found below. 
3. Tonight is our second Parent Teacher Connection (PTC) Meeting. We will meet at the school at 7:00pm. 
4. Wednesday is a special Daily Prayer where grades K-6 and 7-12 will be split. Grades 7-12 will go from 8:15-9:00 and Grades K-6 will go from 9:10-9:55. There will be special presentations at both services. 
5. There is no school on Friday for Teacher Professional Development. 
6. Mark your calendars for October 13th and October 14th. On the 13th at 2:00pm, we will have our annual pep rally and student spirit dances from grades K-4. All parents welcome!
7. The 14th is Homecoming. We will meet at the church at 12:15pm. We will then parade with a police escort to the Our Savior Athletic Complex on the corner of Pond Path and Hawkins. From 1:00-3:00pm, there will be a Homecoming Festival where grades K-6 will be able to play different carnival games and win “Pioneer Bucks” for prizes! From 7:00-9:30pm, there will be a Homecoming Social that will include pizza, an ice cream bar, volleyball, and a Mario Cart Tournament. This is for grades 7-12. Come and enjoy!!!
