Dear OSNAS Family,
Just as it did last year on the first day of school, God sent His refreshing rain. As water makes plants grow, so also the Word of God makes us grow into people that are less self-centered and more about Him. Today in Daily Prayer, we learned about September 11th and how, in the face of unspeakable tragedy, the country came together in great unity. People were proud to be Americans and stood up for the God-given freedoms that our country was founded on. You are always welcome to tune into the Daily Prayer Services at the beginning on each day by going to our Facebook page and searching for Our Savior New American School. You can join us live at 8:15am or you can watch the recording later on. Here are a couple other items:
1. Students MAY wear OSNAS gym shirts in Navy, Maroon or prior years. Sorry for the confusion as the website says that only Navy shirts are permitted.
2. As you probably know by now, the days that are designated as Navy and Maroon on the calendar are for Middle School and High School scheduling purposes. You do not need to wear that color shirt on that day.
Thank you parents and students for your positivity these past two days. It has been a joy and privilege to get to know the new students and families as well as welcome back those who have been with us. Have a restful, Christ-centered weekend filled with His blessings. If you do not have a church family, we would be happy to welcome you to ours. Services are at 8:00am and 10:30am with a Bible Study for kids, teens and adults at 9:15am. A hot breakfast is provided for all children at 9:15am. God’s blessings on your weekend.
Peace in the Lord +
Dr. Stelzer
