We are pleased to welcome Diana Ferretii to the OSNAS family. Diana graduated from St. Joseph’s College in 2019 with a degree in Education and a focus in Math. We sat down with her to ask her a few questions. Here is what she said…
Q: Where did you grow up and attend school?
A: Saville and Saville High School.
Q: What inspired you to become a teacher?
A: I had a really good teacher in high school that was always welcoming and caring. She passed away and I felt the void of not having her. I wanted to have that type of influence and be that type of person.
Q: Why did you decide to go into Math specifically?
A: My whole family works with math. My father is in IT, my mom is a bookkeeper, my uncle is an actuary and my other uncle is a product analyst which involves statistics. I guess it’s in the genes.
Q: What are your hobbies and interests?
A: I have always been involved with competitive cheerleading and now I work for a company called UCA that allows me to travel and run cheerleading events. I work there on weekends and during the summer.
Q: What are some of your future goals?
A: I would like to be a school administrator some day. I plan on pursuing my Masters Degree in Literacy and then in Administration. I love to travel and look forward to having a family.
Q: What are your impressions of OSNAS so far?
A: Everyone is so super friendly and helpful getting me to understand how the school runs and reaching out when I need it.
Q: How would you describe your personality?
A: Extremely outgoing, organized, ambitious and headstrong. I know what goals I have and I go for it.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most this year?
A: Building strong relationships with faculty and students.
We are blessed to have Diana Ferretii on the team. We pray the Lord blesses her as she seeks to be a blessing to the students at OSNAS. Have a great year and once again, Welcome!
