Karen Saul
Art and Drama Teacher
My name is Karen Saul and I am the Art and Drama teacher at OSNAS. After 10 years of homeschooling the Lord has brought my family to this wonderful school. Music, art and classical studies have been paramount in our homeschool journey, I am so excited to continue that with the students here at OSNAS!
I studied elementary education and minored in art at St. Joseph’s College. I received my Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from Briarcliffe College. I have worked as a residential mural artist and also created art for different ministries within the church. I taught art at West Sayville Christian School prior to moving to NYC with my family. We lived downtown for eight years and became members of Classical Conversations (CC), where I worked as both a Tutor and a Director. We moved back to Long Island three years ago and continued with CC, where I also tutored. This past year I took my love of musical theater to my daughters’ dance school, A Time to Dance, and have been blessed to teach musical theater class there.
Together with my husband Jarett and our children, we enjoy being in nature, singing, creating art and traveling. We also love to serve in various ministries with our church family at First Baptist Church of Patchogue. We are now blessed to serve with the family here at OSNAS! By His Grace!
