Another Year of God’s Blessings!
Dear OSNAS Family,
By God’s grace, OSNAS has commenced its 33rd year of service to God’s children and their families. We are excited to welcome 35 new students to the OSNAS family this year! This includes 10 brand new Kindergarteners who are adjusting nicely as they learn how to be full time students. We are also thankful that God has refreshed His school with six new teachers. These teachers all love Jesus and love to serve children. We are truly blessed!
For students in grades preschool to grade 8, OSNAS is partnering with Christian Youth Soccer League (CYSL) to offer soccer training and games. The first session is THIS SATURDAY, September 14th at 9AM. This is for OSNAS students and others in the community who want their children to grow in Christ, friendship, and as an athlete. You can register for this very affordable league by clicking here. After this Saturday, practices will be after school (at the school) on Thursdays from 3:15-5PM and games will be on Saturday mornings between 9 and 11AM. You can register by clicking HERE.
Each week, I try to send out a Biblical Thought of the Week based on what we are learning about in Daily Prayer. This gives families an opportunity to connect with the education of the school and reinforce the teachings of our Savior. This year, I also plan on sending out brief “Phoney Friday” videos on the damaging effects that smartphones and social media have had on kids. I pray this will be helpful to you as you make decisions with respect to your children’s use of technology.
