Field Day at OSNAS!
On Friday June 7th, OSNAS students stormed the field to engage in some healthy athletic competition. These games included a water balloon toss, three-legged race, potato sack race and the always-popular, thoroughly entertaining tug-of-war. The eighth grade class was particularly impressive and the parents flexed their muscles by defeating the high school girls and boys. Thank you to the Parent-Teacher Connection who once again did an phenomenal job supplying games, planning events, offering assistance, providing snacks, hydration and ice cream for the entire school. The Bible often connects competitive sports with the Christian life. Both require endurance, focus and fight (1 Timothy 6:12). May the Lord give us these qualities as we seek to finish out a great year!
OSNAS Updates:
- Tomorrow is our annual Art Show at 6:00PM and Spring Concert at 6:30PM. Don’t miss the artists, singers and professional band as they take you back in time.
- On Wednesday, students who have received individual lessons in an instrument will be performing at the OSNAS recital from 8:15-9:00AM.
- Thursday is Locker Clean-Out. Please refer to the email sent by Dean Licausi for details.
- During the last week of school, since dismissal is at 12:30PM, only grades K-4 will be having lunch. No lunch entrees will be provided on those days (only snacks and drinks) so please have your child bring a bag lunch.
