Grammy Award Winner Works With OSNAS Students

Dear OSNAS Family,

The Spring Concert is an annual tradition in which students of all grades sing and play a variety of songs. This year, Grammy award winner Sheri Pedigo flew in to help coach our high school girls choir (“The Esthers”). Our Music Director Mr. Ray also brought in an eight-man professional band from all over the Northeast. What a blessing these students received! The younger grades sang and played their instruments with joy and blessed all who were in attendance.

This past week, students also exhibited their artwork at the Art Show and performed in the Student Recital in chapel. The fine arts were on full display this past week at OSNAS thanks to Mrs. Grupp, Mrs. Hin and Mr. Ray who have played a major role in shaping well-rounded, high-performing champions for Christ!

OSNAS Updates:

1. Being finals week, students will be dismissed at 12:30PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, students will be dismissed at 11:15AM after the OSNAS Awards Ceremony.
2. Previously, certain districts told us that they were going to provide bussing on Wednesday, June 19th. They are now telling us that they do not anticipate being able to provide transportation on that day. You are free to call your district to see if they say otherwise, but it would be wise to plan to drop off and pick up your child on Wednesday.
3. Dress code for this week is the same from Monday to Thursday since there will be no specials (polo and pants or skort). Friday is a school spirit / Jesus Never Stops dress day. Kindergarteners will be able to dress up nice for their graduation.
4. One of the highlights of the year is always the end of the year Awards Ceremony. All parents are invited to attend this event on Friday that begins at 9:00AM and ends around 11:00AM.
5. On Thursday, those students who played on a high school sports team should plan on attending the Athletic Awards Night at 7:00PM. Dress is business casual. Light refreshments will be served.
6. Save the date for the OSNAS Concert and Fundraiser featuring Fr. Charles and Lauri Mangano on December 6th from 6:30-8:30PM.
7. Everyone is invited to come to Graduation on Friday at 4:00PM!
