Deny Yourself

Deny yourself. This is not a very popular message. We like to hear things like, “Let nothing stand in the way of your dreams”, or “Live your best life now.” We would rather be comfortable and not experience the pain of self denial. Thankfully, this is what Christ did for us. He denied himself, took up his cross and bore our sin. He carried us then and He carries us now. Following Him will never be easy, but it will always be good.

OSNAS Updates:

1. If you would like your child to have a bus next year, you must let your school district know. Many districts do this through a card in the mail that you have to fill out and mail. This must be completed by April 1st in order to guarantee this service for next year. If you have not yet reenrolled in the school or signed up for bussing, this is the time to get that done.
2. On Wednesday from 8:15-9:00AM, we will have our 2nd Annual Science Bowl! This competition features students from each grade (7-12) who take turns trying to describe and guess a bunch of scientific terms in a minute’s time. If you have ever played the game Head’s Up, you will have a good idea of how this competition works. Come and join the fun!
3. There will be no school on Friday for Teacher Professional Development.
