Grandparents’ Day
Teach [the Word] to your children and your children’s children (Deuteronomy 4:9). This is God’s instruction to grandparents. There is nothing more important than passing on a legacy of faith to our children and our grandchildren. Everything else that we give them comes up short, but Jesus never stops.
We were able to celebrate God’s gift of grandparents last Wednesday. Students from preschool to grade 5 praised the Lord with cheerful songs, recitations from the Bible, and warm tributes to their grandparents. Afterwards, the kids got to spend some time with their grandparents. The event was a reminder that God’s design of the family is an incredible gift that He has given us!
OSNAS Updates:
- Tomorrow, grades K-5 will be heading out on their field trip to White Post Farms of Melville. Students should wear a jacket as well as their OSNAS gym shirt or Jesus Never Stops shirt on the top and jeans or comfortable pants on the bottom. No cell phones or electronic devices are allowed on the trip. Everyone should bring a bag lunch and a disposable drink.
