OSNAS Begins 35th School Year!
On Thursday, September 10th, OSNAS opened its 35th year of serving God’s children. As with the very first service back in February of 1992, the school gathered in the chapel to give God the glory and to ask for his blessing upon another year. Several new faces got to experience a Daily Prayer Service for the very first time, including 18 kindergarteners! OSNAS has always been and will continue to be God’s school. From the time it opened with a $5,000 donation and 12 students until present day, we have constantly relied on his provision for teachers, resources and guidance. Thankfully, we serve a very big God for which nothing is impossible. We look forward to a year of growth and pray the Lord blesses His school once more. A special welcome to all the new families. OSNAS Updates:
- Sign up for school clubs today (violin, piano, baseball, drama, and more!). Please click HERE to view the clubs and register your child.
- If your child did the OSNAS Learning Program, please have them bring in the evidence of their work and give it to the Guidance Counselor so they can be recognized at Wednesday’s chapel service.
- Back to School Night is Thursday, September 24th at 7PM. Parents are invited to come meet the teachers and learn about the classes.
- If you pick up your child at the end of the school day, please do not pull up by the building in your car and wait. You must park in a parking space and walk to the front of the building to receive your child.
- Our Daily Prayer Service will be live-streamed each day on the school facebook page (search Our Savior New American School). You will also find new student photos and flyers of upcoming events by following us on facebook and instagram.
- Speaking of social media and smartphones, Mark Calder, a professional Mental Health Counselor will be coming in to speak to parents (and kids if you would like to bring them) about how these technologies are impacting our kids. This will be on Thursday, October 1st at 6:30PM so please mark your calendars! Click HERE for a brief intro on this event.
- If you are interested in taking part in our Parent Service Group (PSG), we will be placing a sign up page on our website within the next couple days.
- If your child is waiting for their school uniform in the mail and has to come to school outside of the dress code, please email paul.licausi@osnas.org with your online receipt. You can also take advantage of our used uniform store by setting up an appointment with jackie.gabrielle@osnas.org.
