OSNAS Travels Back in History

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Knowing what happened in the past helps us understand the present and anticipate the future. To help students grow in this wisdom, the students in grades K-6 memorize a significant historical speech and a song that helps them remember the events and people from the era they are studying. Each year, the students dress up in costumes and present these speeches and songs in front of the school. The students shared inspiring messages from George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Martin Luther King Jr. and more. You can see the performances by clicking here.
