OSNAS Visits White Post Farms

Dear OSNAS Family,

It was a blessing to travel with our Kindergarten through grade 5 students to White Post Farms last Tuesday. Despite the lower temperatures, the kids (and adults!) had a very enjoyable visit. The kids went on a hayride, fed the farm animals, watched the birds land on their shoulders and heads, pet a 12 foot giraffe on the head, picked pumpkins and enjoyed each other’s company on the big yellow bus. It is truly incredible to see the variety of creatures God has made for our enjoyment and His glory. To think that all of the beauty and complexity in our world came about by a random explosion and zillions of salutary mutations is a slap in the face to our awesome God. We are grateful that we can give credit where credit is due.

OSNAS Updates:

  1. Wednesday is our special Veterans’ Day Chapel Service at 8:15AM. All veterans are strongly encouraged to attend as the kids sing and pay tribute to your service and sacrifice.
  2. Friday is Parent-Teacher Conference Day. Students will be dismissed at 11:15AM from school and then parents will be invited to come and speak with the teachers of their children from 1:00-3:00PM and then again from 6:00-8:30PM. Teachers of students in grades K-5 may send out a sign up sheet for parents to know the specific time they should come in. Parents of students in the upper grades can come and speak with the various teachers as they become available. In order to have as many conversations as possible, we ask that each conversation with teachers of grades 6-12 last around 7 minutes.
  3. There is a PTC Meeting Tonight at 7:00PM in the library. This is for parents who would like to help plan school events.

May the Lord bless and keep you!

Peace in the Lord +
