Rescue those who are being led away to death…
Today in Daily Prayer we discussed Proverbs 24:11 which says, “Rescue those who are being led away to death; hold back those who are staggering toward slaughter.” In our country today, the most dangerous place to be is inside the womb. This is because unborn children do not have the same legal right to life as the born. This stands in clear contradiction to our Declaration of Independence which claims that all people are created equal and endowed by their Creator with the irrevocable right of life. More importantly, the authorization to kill an unborn child stands in stark contrast with the Word of God which recognizes the humanity and value of unborn children (Psalm 22:10, Psalm 51:5, Luke 1:41).
On Wednesday, a representative from Soundview Pregnancy Services will be coming to speak with our students at Daily Prayer. She will be talking to the kids about the sanctity of human life and how people are people no matter how small. This will be done with dignity and respect. As always, you are more than welcome to attend. We will also be raising support for Soundview through a baby bottle drive. Students are able to fill a bottle up with coins or cash to support Soundview and their mission of saving lives through sonograms, counseling and medical services.

Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done? Proverbs 24:11-12
