Senior Class Bonds Together

Every year since 2008, our senior class has traveled to an upstate lake house in South Fallsburg. The purpose is to give seniors an opportunity to bond in friendship and grow in Christ. I was particularly encouraged to see how the senior class got along so well. They fished, kayaked, swam, played, ate, and studied God’s Word together as brothers and sisters in Christ. If the senior retreat was any indication of things to come, we are in for a very blessed year.

At the beginning of each school week, I try to communicate with everyone in the form of these “OSNAS Updates”. The updates typically include information about past events, upcoming events, and a biblical thought of the week that we are discussing in the school.

Please feel free to tune into our Daily Prayer services at 8:15AM on our facebook page if you are unable to attend in person. You can reinforce what we are discussing at your dinner table or family devotional time. There are not many things more beneficial for a family than to have a time dedicated to reading the Bible and praying together. If you are not in the habit of doing this, today is a great day to start 🙂

OSNAS Updates:

  1. Starting this Wednesday (September 17th), we will be switching to a new method for Parent Pick-Up at the end of the day in an effort to be more efficient and secure. For grades K-12, parents will make a line outside on the sidewalk next to Mrs. Gabrielle and we will send out your child when you arrive to the front of the line. Pre-K parents will still enter the building to pick up their children, but are encouraged to do so a little before 3PM to minimize traffic and congestion.
  2. If you want someone (other than than the parent) to pick up your child, they must be on the pick up list that you filled out during enrollment. If you want to add an authorized person to pick up your child, you must send an email to jackie.gabrielle@osnas.org to let her know.
  3. There is a PTC Meeting (Parent Teacher Connection) tonight at 7PM in the library. The PTC is for parents who want to assist in putting on school events such as the Thanksgiving Festival, Glow in the Dark Dodgeball NIght, etc. All parents are welcome to attend.
  4. If you would like your child to participate in a club after school, please click on this link to find out more and sign up.
