Senior Night
OSNAS senior guards Derek Serrano and Thomas Gilbert played their final home game last Thursday. Thomas drilled three 3-pointers and Derek led the team with multiple steals and drives to the basket. While the Pioneers came short of a victory, they fought to the very end cutting a 20 point deficit to 12 before time ran out. The gym was filled with student body members of all ages who enthusiatically showed their support.
As for the girls team, they faced off against Bridgehampton on Friday evening. In their final game of the season, the girls came out firing and easily beat the team who had defeated them earlier in the year. Coach Bray is already looking forward to next year as the Pioneers do not graduate a single player and expect some new talent to join. Congratulations to both teams on a strong finish!
